In my 20’s I came across this quote and it has motivated me ever since.

I love fast-paced thrillers with twists and turns. When I heard about a major scientific breakthrough in 2025, I thought it would provide a strong scaffold to build an entertaining piece of fiction.

The animal references introduce a playful element that serves two purposes: Firstly, it demonstrates the sociopath billionaire’s contempt for other people. Secondly, giving the gang of ‘crazies’ animal names makes it easier for the reader to track characters.

I will always love spending time with my family. In recent years I have also started competitive rowing, learning the drums, making furniture and doing multi-day bush walks.

I created and built a Management Consulting business (451 Consulting) in Brisbane that serviced clients across Australia for 20 years. This enabled me to retire a little early to pursue other interests such as writing. I have degrees in Science, Information Technology and a MBA.
